Barca Gets Revenge

Barcelona beat Paris St. Germain 3-1 yesterday in the Champions League. The two teams played previously before in which PSG won 3-2. When Zlatan Ibrahimovic stepped out onto the field there were many boos, but Zlatan silenced them with a goal to put PSG up 1-0, but it wasn't enough as Messi, Neymar, and Luis Suarez all found the back of the net.

FSU beats Georgia Tech

For one of the very first times this season FSU played properly and won properly. FSU won 37-35. Jameis Winston threw 3 touchdowns and no picks, while Dalvin Cook rushed 30 times for 171 yards and 1 TD. It looked at times that both offenses were unstoppable but both defenses made key stops but the Yellow Jackets offense couldn't get it going when they really needed it too. Tech's quarterback Justin Thomas was 8/14 for 134 yards with a TD and a pick, he also rushed 11 times for 104 yards. I don't know if anyone has watched Thomas play but he has a killer accuracy and I think has potential to be a starting quarterback in the NFL.

The Tide Roll!

Alabama and Blake Sims roll to a 42-13 win over Mizzouri in the SEC Championship. Blake was perfect this game as he was 23 out  of 27 for 262 yards and 2 touchdowns. Amari Cooper had a SEC Championship record 12 receptions for 82 yards, while DeAndrew White had 4 receptions for 101 yards including a 53-yard touchdown pass. The closest Mizzou came to making the game close was when it was 21-13 but then Bama would put up 21 straight points in the fourth. Blake Sims was the MVP of the game.

Johnny Manziel to Start

Johnny Manziel came early in the fourth quarter to take over the struggling Brian Hoyer who had thrown 2 interceptions. Manziel led the Browns on a 80 yard drive that ended with a 10-yard touchdown run by Manziel. His second drive didn't go so well, but the players are confident that things will go uphill for Manziel from here. The Browns head coach Mike Pettine said the team will make an official decision on whether to start Manziel or Hoyer by Wednesday.

Alabama Makes the Comeback

Alabama gets revenge after last years upset loss. Alabama was up 14-9, but Nick Marshall made it 16-14 with a pass to Sammie Coates. Then Alabama would score from a run from T.J. Yeldon to make the score 21-16. Auburn would take the lead at halftime 26-21. But soon in the third quarter it was 36-27. Alabama's offense and defense were struggling. Then came the 39-yard touchdown pass to Amari Cooper that sparked the Bama's offense and defense. Blake Sims then would connect again with Cooper on a 75-yard touchdown pass. Blake Sims would also throw to DeAndrew White for a touchdown and run for an 11-yard TD himself. Then Derrick Henry ran 25 yards for another score to make the score 55-36.  Auburn would answer back with a touchdown run from Corey Grant and the two-point conversion from Marshall but it was over by then. Amari Cooper had 224 receiving yards on 13 catches and 3 touchdowns. Nick Marshall threw for 456 yards, 3 touchdowns and 1 interception. This was a career-high for him and a school-record. Sammie Coates had 5 catches for 206 yards and 2 touchdowns. D'haquille Williams for Auburn had also had 7 catches for 121 yards. Blake Sims threw 1 touchdown before he would throw 3 interceptions but accounted then accounted for 4 straight touchdowns afterwards, 3 through the air and 1 on the ground. Auburn outgained Alabama 628 yards to 539 yards. But Alabama hung on to win 55-44.

Perfect Mariota

Marcus Mariota was perfect as he threw for 367 yards and 4 touchdowns and also rushed for two touchdowns as he led the Oregon Ducks to a 47-19 win over Oregon State. Mariota is definitely making his case for the Heisman Trophy.

FSU Hangs On...Again

Florida State hang on to win over Florida. FSU's defense played outstanding this game. Jameis Winston played awful. He threw four interceptions and two touchdowns. Three of those four interceptions came in the first half. Also if it wasn't for Dalvin Cook, FSU's running back, FSU might have lost. He ran for over 140 yards. UF's kicker missed two field goals that could've helped them win the game and Florida was never able to convert on FSU's miscues.
