Johnny Manziel to Start

Johnny Manziel came early in the fourth quarter to take over the struggling Brian Hoyer who had thrown 2 interceptions. Manziel led the Browns on a 80 yard drive that ended with a 10-yard touchdown run by Manziel. His second drive didn't go so well, but the players are confident that things will go uphill for Manziel from here. The Browns head coach Mike Pettine said the team will make an official decision on whether to start Manziel or Hoyer by Wednesday.

Alabama Makes the Comeback

Alabama gets revenge after last years upset loss. Alabama was up 14-9, but Nick Marshall made it 16-14 with a pass to Sammie Coates. Then Alabama would score from a run from T.J. Yeldon to make the score 21-16. Auburn would take the lead at halftime 26-21. But soon in the third quarter it was 36-27. Alabama's offense and defense were struggling. Then came the 39-yard touchdown pass to Amari Cooper that sparked the Bama's offense and defense. Blake Sims then would connect again with Cooper on a 75-yard touchdown pass. Blake Sims would also throw to DeAndrew White for a touchdown and run for an 11-yard TD himself. Then Derrick Henry ran 25 yards for another score to make the score 55-36.  Auburn would answer back with a touchdown run from Corey Grant and the two-point conversion from Marshall but it was over by then. Amari Cooper had 224 receiving yards on 13 catches and 3 touchdowns. Nick Marshall threw for 456 yards, 3 touchdowns and 1 interception. This was a career-high for him and a school-record. Sammie Coates had 5 catches for 206 yards and 2 touchdowns. D'haquille Williams for Auburn had also had 7 catches for 121 yards. Blake Sims threw 1 touchdown before he would throw 3 interceptions but accounted then accounted for 4 straight touchdowns afterwards, 3 through the air and 1 on the ground. Auburn outgained Alabama 628 yards to 539 yards. But Alabama hung on to win 55-44.

Perfect Mariota

Marcus Mariota was perfect as he threw for 367 yards and 4 touchdowns and also rushed for two touchdowns as he led the Oregon Ducks to a 47-19 win over Oregon State. Mariota is definitely making his case for the Heisman Trophy.

FSU Hangs On...Again

Florida State hang on to win over Florida. FSU's defense played outstanding this game. Jameis Winston played awful. He threw four interceptions and two touchdowns. Three of those four interceptions came in the first half. Also if it wasn't for Dalvin Cook, FSU's running back, FSU might have lost. He ran for over 140 yards. UF's kicker missed two field goals that could've helped them win the game and Florida was never able to convert on FSU's miscues.

New Rankings

Well the new rankings came out yesterday night and honestly I'm not surprised about them. I was not surprised to see Ole Miss drop from 8 to 19 after the 30-0 loss to Arkansas last Saturday. RGIII Being Benched

Everything for Robert Griffin III seems to being going downhill. Being a dual-threat quarterback has served him well but most quarterbacks prefer using their arms over their legs. The Washington Redskins will now rely on Colt McCoy. A 3-13 record for RGIII doesn't help.

Falcao is Back!

After suffering from a calf injury and missing Manchester United's four past games, the Colombian soccer player will be returning to training. He suffered his injury in the 2-1 victory over Everton back in October. Unfortunately, Louis van Gaal said that Falcao will most likely be unavailable for the match against Southampton on December 8.

No Trouble For Pushing Ref

Jameis Winston will not be penalized for pushing away an official during the game. The official was trying to slow the snap to let Boston College substitute players while Winston was trying to get the snap off. ACC ruled the this insignificant and no punishment will be administered.

RGIII?

Should RGIII be replaced? The struggling quarterback has been much rumored to be replaced through the many struggles that the Redskins have faced this season. Most feel though he should have a chance.

FSU Survives

Jameis Winston and FSU hang on to win against Boston College, 20-17. Aguayo's  last second field goal secured the win. This is the sixth game for FSU that they have either trailed or were tied during the game. Looks like FSU's toughest challenge may be next week against Florida, whose defense is the best they have ever faced this season.

Man United beat Arsenal

Man United did the unexpected and beat Arsenal. Arsenal was predicted to beat United. Kieran Gibbs had an own goal in the 56th minute to give Man U the lead. Then a counter-attack by Angel di Maria and a beautiful ball to Wayne Rooney found its way into the back of the net in the 85th minute. Arsenal would answer back in extra time from a great strike from Olivier Giroud but it was over by then.

Eight team playoff?

Most of the country is wanting an eight-team playoff. All the FBS coaches want it. According to ESPN 44% of coaches want an eight-team playoff, 29% like it the way it is right now and 17% want a sixteen-team playoff. CFB director Bill Hancock said though that there is no discussion of it. But I'm pretty sure the whole country right now wants one, especially TCU, Ohio State, and Baylor.

ACC Championship

Georgia Tech will being playing Florida State in the ACC Championship. Duke just lost to North Carolina 45-20. Duke had the advantage with the win against the Yellow Jackets but the loss today confirms Georgia Tech and FSU will being playing against each other. This should be a huge game.

Falcao Suffers New Injury

The Colombian soccer player is yet again injured. Louis van Gaal confirmed and says he may need more than two weeks to recover. Which means that he will miss the game against Arsenal and could miss the matches against Hull and Stoke.
Falcao is very frustrated over this injury but remains hopeful that he will recover through the rehabilitation.

No Chance for Auburn To Make Playoff

Looks like the Auburn Tigers won't be making the playoffs or the SEC Championship after last weekends devastating lost to Georgia. Now the only thing the Tigers can look to doing is spoiling Alabama's chances of going to the playoff as they close there season at Tuscaloosa but they will need more than a miracle to get it. With all the struggles on defense with the pass rush, it looks like Blake Sims and Amari Cooper won't have any trouble.
Auburn though still has next year to look forward to as they have 6 foot 5' quarterback Jeremy Johnson who has got what I have seen as the best arm in the country.

Is FSU Overated?

One of the major questions that have sprung up since the start of this season is FSU overrated? Well, the whole country thinks so. There schedule definitely proves it. Remember that Notre Dame team that we thought was so good? Well, there not even ranked anymore. What team trails majority of the game, has more turnovers and still wins the game? FSU. Luck or the hand of God has been on there side. I'm pretty sure the whole country saw that tipped ball thrown by Jameis Winston on 3rd and goal that landed in the hands of Karlos Williams, who just walked into the endzone. Also, who throws three interceptions in one game and still wins? Jameis Winston and the Seminoles. All they need is luck and no skill.

New Rankings

A lot of shaking up has happen this past weekend in College Football, now with Mississippi State falling to the Tide, 25-20. This has opened up the door for Alabama to be in the playoffs.

Here's what the playoff would look like if it happened now:
1. Alabama
2. Oregon
3. Florida State
4. Mississippi State

1 Alabama vs 4 Mississippi State and 2 Oregon vs 3 Florida State

There's still a lot of football left, so there's still time for TCU and Ohio State to get in but it will take a lot.
Who knows? Maybe they'll get the luck FSU has right now.

This is what the current top 25 look like.
